Mina Quran

The Quran, ayah by ayah, over calm scenes from nature.

Mina Quran is a free Quran recitation app for Apple TV. Choose a reciter, press play, and each ayah appears on screen in Uthmani script as it is recited, with a translation beneath it if you like. It has no ads, no accounts and no tracking.

Questions

What do I need?

An Apple TV with tvOS 26 or later, and an internet connection: the recitations and the background footage stream as you listen.

How do I change the reciter or the translation?

In the player, the menu on the left changes the reciter and the one on the right the text beneath the Arabic: a translation, the transliteration, or neither. Settings has the same choices, and every choice is kept.

Where does Continue start?

At the start of the ayah where you stopped, back in the radio or station you were in.

The recitation does not start, or it stops.

Check the Apple TV's internet connection, then choose Try again. The recitation picks up at the ayah it was on.

Can I keep the background still?

Yes. Turn on Reduce Motion (Settings, Accessibility, Motion on the Apple TV), and calm still scenes take the place of the moving footage.

Where do the text, the translations and the recitations come from?

The Quran text and translations are from the Tanzil Project, shown exactly as published. The recitations are from mp3quran.net. The Credits screen in the app names every source, translator, reciter and video.
