Privacy policy

Mina Quran

Effective 4 November 2026.

Mina Quran collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it contains no third-party code that could collect anything.

Your choices stay on your TV. The reciter, translation and transliteration you choose, and the place where you stopped listening, are kept only on your device. Nothing is sent to us, and deleting the app erases them.

What the app downloads. The recitations, their ayah timings and the background videos stream from Mina Quran's own server, hosted by Cloudflare. As with any website, Cloudflare receives your device's internet (IP) address in order to send them. Mina Quran keeps no logs of these requests and cannot identify you from them. Cloudflare handles them under its own privacy policy.

Your TV's own settings. If you have agreed in your TV's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple or Google may pass on anonymous crash reports and usage figures for Mina Quran, as they do for every app. You can turn this off there at any time.

Children. Mina Quran is for everyone, and it collects nothing from anyone, children included.

Changes. If this policy changes, the new version will appear in the app and on Mina Quran's website, with the date it takes effect.

Contact. Mina Quran is made by Mortada Sarheed. For questions about privacy, or anything else in the app, write to mina.quran@sarheed.dk.
